For the second year running Arcam has won an award from the prestigious AV trade magazine SVI (Sound Vision Install), once again, Arcam take the title for "Best Mini HiFi system". Having taken the trophy in 2008 for the Solo Movie 5.1 Home Cinema system, 2009 sees the company take the award again but this time with the popular Solo Mini.

SVI magazine is one of the UK's most popular AV trade magazines with and ABC certified circulation of more than 4000 copies (at time of writing). Solo Mini has also won awards in a number of specialist HiFi magazines in the last calendar year including What HiFi, HiFi Choice and HiFi World.

Classic Rock Magazine's 4th annual awards ceremony gathers together some of the world's greatest rock stars. With awards nominations voted for by the public and categories such as "Album of the year", "Performer of the year" and "Best new band" amongst many others, the event has now become a permanent fixture on the Rock music calendar.

The bespoke PL300 loudspeakers will be auctioned at a special Classic Rock event with all the proceeds going to children's charity Childline. Last year, over 500,000 children called the 24-hour helpline that is devoted to helping those in distress or danger.
